Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Varicent Consultant to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM), working with business users, and presenting solutions that align with ICM application design. Strong analytical and business communication skills are essential.
 
Responsibilities:
Design and build with Varicent ICM: Building and testing of calculations, data stores, Presenter reports, and API calls.
Work with business users to facilitate and compile test scripts, test cases, and overall testing plans.
Present solutions consistent with the architecture and design of the ICM application.
Discover business requirements and design solutions using best-in-class techniques.
Analyze data for forecasting, incentive plan modeling, software defect, and root cause detection.
Utilize languages and front-end technologies: SQL, Excel, ETL processes.
 
Primary Skills:
Design and build experience with Varicent ICM.
Experience with SQL, Excel, and ETL processes.
Strong business communication skills (verbal and written).
 
Secondary Skills:
Experience with compensation or variable pay programs, including design, modeling, consulting, and administration of incentive plans.
Knowledge of incentive planning tools, techniques, and procedures.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, understanding concepts, tools, and techniques.
 
Qualifications:
Proven experience in designing and building with Varicent ICM.
Practical hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, and ETL processes.
Strong business communication and analytical skills.
Additional experience in compensation or variable pay programs is a plus.
