Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Tidal Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT job scheduling using Cisco Tidal Enterprise Scheduler, particularly within the finance domain. This role involves managing complex job streams and calendar schedules, optimizing job processing, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of enterprise system applications.
Responsibilities:
Implement job streams with complex dependencies and manage complex calendar schedules using Tidal Enterprise Scheduler.
Perform analysis, design, and implementation of batch processing workflows using Cisco Tidal Enterprise Scheduler.
Implement, maintain, and schedule workloads and event-based processes.
Oversee all operational activities for enterprise system applications in scope, meeting required deadlines.
Administer, create, and maintain calendars, review and implement all IT job processing, optimize job schedules, monitor and report, and analyze job failures.
Oversee the restart and rerun of all production jobs, create and maintain accurate documentation, including all job dependencies, and develop and maintain standard operation procedures.
Understand business requirements and structure plans, processes, and procedures to address customer requests quickly and effectively within audit guidelines.
Escalate problems as necessary and provide timely status updates until transferred or resolved.
Develop or improve batch operations best practices.
Organize workloads in the operational environment.
Understand the impact of changes to job processing and adjust schedules as necessary for scheduled maintenance, etc.
Monitor and respond to alarms, assess impact, troubleshoot and resolve problems, and escalate to subject matter experts when required.
Manage changes to IT production environments, including change control documentation, change control meetings, and communication of changes to IT services and business users.

Minimum Requirements:
8+ years of IT job scheduling experience using Cisco Tidal Enterprise Scheduler.
Work experience in the finance domain is preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to work with people in varied organizational relationships.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and accurately in an ever-changing environment.
Must be available for on-call responsibilities.
Flexibility in work schedule is required, including the ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
8+ years of IT job scheduling experience using Cisco Tidal Enterprise Scheduler.
Work experience in the finance domain is preferred.
