Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled TADZ Engineer to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and automating asset data for End-of-Life (EOL) MRA projects using IBM Tivoli Asset Discovery for Z/OS (TADZ). This role requires proficiency in REXX programming, data analysis, and an understanding of mainframe ISVs. The engineer will work with vendors to maintain an up-to-date inventory and create proactive alerts for EOL notices.
 
Responsibilities:
Manage automation of asset data for End-of-Life MRA projects.
Utilize TADZ (IBM Tivoli Asset Discovery for Z/OS) to keep asset data current.
Work with vendors to discover EOS/EOM/EOL and maintain an up-to-date inventory.
Create proactive alerts for EOS notices a year in advance.
Handle data analysis and manipulation for asset discovery components.
 
Primary Skills:
Expertise in using TADZ (IBM Tivoli Asset Discovery for Z/OS) and maintaining current data.
Proficiency with IBM asset discovery software.
Skilled in REXX programming.
Experience with mainframe ISVs.
Knowledge of project management and Agile methodologies.
Ability to support EST hours.
Experience with Flexera software.
 
Qualifications:
Proven experience in managing and automating asset data using TADZ.
Strong proficiency in REXX programming and data analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong understanding of project management and Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
