Job Overview/Summary:
The Stroke Neurologist will provide specialized inpatient and outpatient care for stroke patients, coordinate with interventional colleagues, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. This role requires advanced clinical training, strong digital literacy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient stroke consultations
Coordinate with interventional neurologists for emergent and elective patient care
Participate in a rotating call schedule
Conduct outpatient stroke and general neurology evaluations and follow-up visits
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and care delivery
Primary Skills:
Inpatient and outpatient stroke care
Coordination with multidisciplinary teams
Clinical evaluation and follow-up
Participation in quality improvement projects
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
General neurology experience
Familiarity with interventional neurology workflows
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
Current medical license and board certification required
Board Certified in Neurology with fellowship training in Stroke or Vascular Neurology required
Strong digital literacy skills, including the ability to confidently operate various mobile applications and navigate electronic medical record (EMR) software
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
