Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a Starburst Redis Developer with a strong background in Redis and Starburst, and a focus on real-time data analytics. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Redis for data storage and caching, along with expertise in streaming solutions like Kafka and developing real-time analytics systems. This role involves working closely with infrastructure teams to ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Write code for storing, accessing, and using data in applications with Redis
- Build responsive applications by efficiently storing frequently accessed data in Redis
- Ingest, process, and analyze data while building real-time analytics systems
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams during Redis updates, patches, and version upgrades
- Assess and recommend hardware and software environments to ensure scalability and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues to enhance system efficiency
Primary Skills:
- Redis Certified Developer certification is mandatory
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Data Engineering roles, with at least 3 years working with Redis and Starburst
- Expertise in real-time data analytics systems and technologies
- Experience with streaming solutions such as Kafka
- Proficiency in caching, session storage, service decoupling, data ingestion, and indexing using Redis
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Strong development and scripting experience using Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Cloud, SaaS, and Linux environments
Qualifications:
- Redis Certified Developer certification
- Experience working with Redis and Starburst technologies for at least 3 years
- Proficiency in real-time data processing and analytics using Kafka and Redis
- Strong scripting and programming experience in Python, Java, and JavaScript
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and Linux environments
