Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our healthcare team. This position is ideal for individuals with surgical setting experience or recent graduates from a Surgical Technologist Program. The primary role involves assisting with surgical procedures in the Main Operating Room. You’ll work a schedule of three 12-hour day shifts each week with additional on-call duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Assist with various surgical procedures
Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room
Prepare surgical instruments and equipment
Support surgeons and nurses during operations
Follow all hospital protocols and patient safety standards
Participate in on-call rotation, with a 30-minute response time
Primary Skills:
Experience in surgical settings such as CVOR, General Surgery, Ortho, ENT, or Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC)
Ability to scrub a variety of cases
Proficiency in surgical equipment and sterile techniques
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
Previous experience in any of the following roles:
Surgical Technologist / Surg Tech / Surgical Technician
Surgical Assistant / Ob Tech / Scrub Tech
Operating Room (OR) Tech / Non-Certified Surgical Tech
Qualifications:
Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
