Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our healthcare team. The Physical Therapist will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, manage pain, and restore function lost due to injury, illness, or surgery. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, collaborative, and committed to delivering evidence-based care.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on findings and patient goals.
Provide direct therapy services including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and post-treatment care.
Document all patient interactions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
Reassess and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Primary Skills:
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and use of PT modalities
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
Experience working in a large healthcare facility (151 beds)
Flexibility for weekend rotation
Prior experience in relevant clinical settings
Qualifications:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
CPR/BLS certification required
Previous clinical experience in [insert relevant setting] preferred
