Job Overview/Summary:
The Sr. Palantir Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying data analytics solutions using Palantir Foundry. Working in a mission-critical environment, the engineer will collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to drive improvements in efficiency, resilience, and overall business operations, with a particular focus on battery production operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data analytics solutions using Palantir Foundry.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide time-sensitive support and bug fixes for Palantir Foundry-related issues.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of battery production operations to optimize processes.
- Stay up-to-date on software trends and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, offering constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
- Contribute to an agile software development environment, working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Pair program both remotely and in person with fellow developers.
- Support applications during off-hours in case of outages.
Primary Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in agile software development environments.
- 2+ years of experience with Palantir Foundry.
- Proven experience with Change Management, Problem Management, and Incident Management processes.
- Strong ability to provide thorough, constructive, and insightful code reviews.
- Proactive communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Willingness to support applications during off hours in case of outages.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- 4+ years of experience with relational databases such as Postgres/Oracle.
- Experience with PySpark, TypeScript, and Python.
- Familiarity with reporting tools like Tableau and other data visualization tools.
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and staying current on industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent related discipline, or relevant work experience.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working with Palantir Foundry.
- Experience with tools like Tableau and other reporting tools.
