Job Overview/Summary:
As a Splunk/Cribl Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Cribl pipelines, integrating Cribl with Splunk, and optimizing performance. You will be troubleshooting issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless integration with various data sources and destinations. This role requires a deep understanding of Cribl’s data processing capabilities and experience with Splunk architecture and administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Cribl pipelines for data processing and enrichment
  • Integrate Cribl with various data sources and destinations, including Splunk
  • Optimize Cribl performance and troubleshoot any arising issues
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless data flow and system functionality
  • Stay updated on Cribl and Splunk technologies to ensure best practices are followed
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Primary Skills:

  • Deep understanding of Cribl’s data processing and enrichment capabilities
  • Familiarity with Splunk architecture, search processing language (SPL), and administration
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and PowerShell
  • Experience with automation tools for infrastructure management

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with other log management tools

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Cribl and Splunk integration and management
