Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Murex Application Specialist with a deep understanding of financial markets and hands-on experience with Murex implementations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Murex, including the design and implementation of quantitative financial valuation models, and a thorough understanding of the transversal processes of banks and asset managers.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation Leadership: Lead the implementation of Murex applications from inception to go-live, ensuring successful project delivery.
Functional Expertise: Possess deep knowledge of two or more functional areas within the Murex platform, with hands-on implementation experience.
Transversal Processes: Understand and manage the transversal processes of banks and asset managers, including dependencies and interactions between different streams.
Solution Design: Conduct design and show sessions with business users and Murex to identify and implement optimal solutions for client requirements.
Testing and Validation: Actively contribute to end-to-end testing campaigns to ensure processes operate as intended and verify new models.
Quantitative Valuation: Design and implement quantitative financial valuation models, including bonds and derivatives with embedded options in interest, FX, and equity index.
MACS Models Expertise: Have detailed knowledge and experience with MACS models such as LMM/FMM 1/2F, HW1F, CEV, Dupire, TSR Replications, and native models.
Rate Curve Construction: Expertly construct rate curves and apply interpolation methods.
Project Oversight: Oversee the project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering through to go-live.
 
Required Skills:
Murex Expertise: Minimum 8 years of experience with Murex, including at least 2 full-cycle Murex application implementations to go-live.
Functional Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in two or more functional areas within Murex.
Financial Markets Understanding: Strong understanding of financial markets, including bonds and derivatives with embedded options.
Quantitative Valuation Models: Experience in designing and implementing quantitative financial valuation models.
MACS Models: Detailed knowledge of MACS models and rate curve constructions.
Project Management: Ability to oversee projects from inception to go-live and provide leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Testing and Validation: Experience in end-to-end testing and validation of financial models and processes.

Client Interaction: Experience leading design sessions and interacting with business users to identify and implement solutions.
Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
