Job Overview/Summary:
The Senior Configuration Management Specialist is responsible for leading configuration management (CM) processes to ensure secure and efficient change and configuration management practices. This role involves research, analysis, and documentation to support policy development, planning, and audits related to configuration management and IT security.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research to support project deliverables
- Analyze and synthesize data to provide meaningful insights for CM-related tasks
- Develop comprehensive reports, white papers, presentations, and technical documentation
- Participate in the creation and improvement of policies related to configuration management
- Manage the planning and execution of configuration management processes
- Perform configuration identification and ensure proper tracking of system components
- Conduct configuration management and IT security audits to ensure compliance
Primary Skills:
- Strong understanding of secure change and configuration management processes
- Ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative research and analysis
- Proficiency in developing detailed technical documentation and reports
- Expertise in configuration planning and management, including identification and auditing
- Knowledge of IT security principles related to configuration management
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Familiarity with NICE Securely Provision work roles
- Experience in policy development for IT and configuration management
- Strong communication skills and ability to present findings clearly
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in configuration management, with a focus on secure practices
- Experience conducting configuration and IT security audits
