Job Overview/Summary:
Pulivarthi Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Section Engineer to lead technical projects, provide advanced consultation, and drive excellence in the engineering domain. This role requires expertise in analyzing, evaluating, and resolving highly complex technical issues and managing large-scale technical programs.
Primary Duties:
- Provide advanced technical consultation and training, including on-the-job instruction on complex engineering areas requiring advanced principles and knowledge of analog and digital field test equipment.
- Evaluate and resolve complex technical issues, requiring in-depth knowledge of engineering design documents.
- Lead project teams in implementing large technical projects and programs, developing studies, proposals, and commissioning plans to safely energize and place systems and equipment into operation.
- Participate in technical and industry societies and committees to remain updated on new technologies and issues.
- Contribute to department and project management planning, monitoring performance for achieving results.
- Act as an expert witness and provide expert opinions for internal committees.
Secondary Skills:
- Influence strategic management decisions with major company impacts.
- Lead employees and contractors in executing plans to energize utility and customer equipment and systems.
- Provide direction on technical issues and promote a safe work environment.
- Support operations and maintenance personnel during repairs and system emergencies.
- Develop, modify, and share processes, procedures, and best practices within the company and the power utility industry.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline with a minimum of 7 years of professional engineering experience.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in problem-solving approaches and engineering theory.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering designs, principles, and practices.
- Advanced knowledge of regulations, standards, codes, and engineering principles.
- Familiarity with advanced technologies for specialized, unique, or complex assignments in various installation types.
