Job Title: Safety Risk Lead

Job Overview/Summary:
The Safety Risk Lead will oversee and train operational safety for the Milestone IBOS Logistics Service, ensuring compliance with OSHA requirements and guidelines. This role is instrumental in maintaining safety standards, providing root cause analysis, and aligning training compliance with the Statement of Work (SOW) responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead safety initiatives and root cause analysis across North America, ensuring timely incident mitigation.
  • Complete root cause analysis for all safety incidents within 72 hours.
  • Analyze safety observations to identify areas of concern, training needs, and incident avoidance strategies.
  • Motivate and guide team members and cross-functional teams to maintain safety standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver best-in-class service.
  • Recommend system and process improvements to enhance service and resource utilization.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and regular business reviews to support decision-making.
  • Understand client safety and training requirements, improving data systems and reporting methods.
  • Identify and address process and system gaps to drive safety and training outcomes.
  • Support the continuous development of onsite operational services.

Primary Skills:

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in IT Service Delivery Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management environments.
  • Strong focus on safety and training compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Effective professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and customer relationship management focus.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • OSHA Safety and Health Fundamentals Certificate (preferred).
  • Hazardous Materials training and certification.
  • Foundation in project management or ITIL service delivery.
  • Successful project management experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience (preferred).
  • OSHA Safety & Health Fundamentals Certificate Program (preferred).
