Job Title: Renewable Site Manager

Job Overview/Summary:
Pulivarthi Group is seeking an experienced Renewable Site Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and overall management of renewable energy plant facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence while fostering positive relationships with local authorities and industrial leaders. The ideal candidate will have extensive industry experience, strong leadership capabilities, and technical expertise in power plant operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, coordinate, direct, and control plant activities to ensure efficient and economical operations.
  • Support and enforce the facility's safety and health programs, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide appropriate tools, equipment, protective clothing, and devices to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communicate the importance of safety to employees and contractors daily.
  • Investigate and report incidents/accidents, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations governing plant operations.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term plans for maintenance, capital improvements, and equipment availability.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local officials, industrial leaders, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop budgets, monitor expenditures, and prepare variance reports to ensure financial targets are met.

Primary Skills:

  • Must be available for after-hours/weekend call-outs for troubleshooting and repair.
  • Ability to work with both DC (plant batteries and cubicles) and AC transformer enclosures.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics drawings and relay protection diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of low/high voltage electricity and ability to perform or oversee switching in a 138kV substation environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including email, Excel, and Word.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, OR
  • 5 years of power plant operations and maintenance experience (if no degree), with experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • A minimum of 8 years of industry experience, including work in power plant operations, maintenance, safety, and performance.
