Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. This role involves providing critical care to newborns with a variety of medical complications, working in a fast-paced and emotionally sensitive environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise and a commitment to family-centered care.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care to critically ill or premature newborns

Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform neonatal resuscitation as needed

Collaborate with neonatologists and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans

Educate and support parents and families during the infant’s stay

Maintain accurate records and comply with hospital protocols and safety standards

Respond to emergency situations promptly and efficiently
Primary Skills:
-
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
-
Proficiency in neonatal assessment and interventions
-
IV placement, ventilator support, and infusion pump management
-
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
-
Experience with EPIC or other EMR systems
-
Bilingual (Spanish, French, or others)
-
Experience with developmental care and kangaroo care techniques
Qualifications:
-
Active RN license in the state of practice

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)

Minimum 1 year experience in a Level III or IV NICU
-
BLS and NRP certifications required
