Job Overview:
The Rancher OS Developer will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing RancherOS and Kubernetes environments for one of our largest healthcare clients. This role requires a deep understanding of RancherOS, Linux environments, and software build and deployment automation. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, leveraging their technical expertise to enhance system performance and ensure seamless operation.

Key Responsibilities:
Rancher OS and Kubernetes Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of RancherOS and Kubernetes to support and enhance our systems.
Run Book Development: Write comprehensive run books for standard procedures, including adding users, nodes, and managing space.
Software Upgrades and Patching: Manage and execute software upgrades and patches to ensure system security and performance.
Operational Documentation: Provide detailed operational documentation, including content for learning sessions to educate team members.
Infrastructure Management: Leverage your experience with UNIX (Red Hat, Ubuntu), VMWare, Ansible, and infrastructure management to maintain and optimize our systems.
Automation and Integration: Drive automation, integration, and optimization of software build and deployment systems.
Technical Skillset: Utilize tools such as Ansible Tower, Windows OS, ESXi, Git, and NetApp storage to support our infrastructure.

At least 5 years of experience in RancherOS Development/Engineering.
Prior experience supporting a LINUX (Red Hat, Ubuntu) environment.
