Job Overview/Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse to support autism and ADHD diagnostic services within a multidisciplinary clinical environment. This role combines in-person and virtual clinical responsibilities, requiring excellent communication skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to deliver high-quality assessments and reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structured in-person observations as part of autism/ADHD assessments

  • Complete developmental history interviews with parents/carers via Zoom

  • Participate in multidisciplinary diagnostic discussions

  • Deliver sensitive and informed feedback to families

  • Produce high-quality clinical reports using AI-assisted documentation tools

  • Meet key performance indicators while maintaining clinical integrity

  • Provide clinical supervision (where applicable)

  • Attend in-person clinics as required

Primary Skills:

  • Strong clinical assessment and observation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Proficiency in producing structured clinical documentation

  • Ability to engage sensitively with families and carers

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted documentation tools

  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior clinicians

  • Multidisciplinary team collaboration experience

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with psychiatric/mental health specialization

  • Experience in autism and/or ADHD assessments preferred

  • Current professional license in good standing

  • Commitment to ongoing CPD and professional growth
