Job Overview/Summary:
The Proposal Analyst will manage the end-to-end proposal process for assigned pursuits, collaborating closely with sales, technical teams, and senior leadership. This position is responsible for responding to formal RFIs, RFPs, proactive proposals, and maintaining content repositories. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with excellent communication and writing skills, adept at managing proposal schedules, content, and version control while ensuring deliverables meet client requirements and win themes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and administer the entire proposal process, from initiation to submission
  • Analyze, write, and manage proposal responses in alignment with client requirements
  • Manage schedules, stakeholder reviews, and deliverables with senior leadership
  • Own and ensure cohesive, customer-facing content throughout the proposal process
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and develop win themes, value propositions, and content mapping
  • Build response shell documents to align with RFX layout and corporate style guidelines
  • Manage version control, internal reviews, and content archiving post-submission
  • Assist with proactive proposals and statements of work (SOWs)
  • Maintain the content library and contribute to the creation of new content
  • Prepare materials for lessons learned sessions and other post-submission actions

Primary Skills:

  • Strong expertise in end-to-end proposal management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint), Adobe Acrobat, and web-based interfaces
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms and create persuasive content
  • Proven experience developing RFX responses
  • Strong research, evaluation, writing, and editing skills

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Degree in English/Journalism, Communications, or Marketing
  • Experience with visual layout skills in Word and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with InDesign
  • Experience with technical content development

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in proposal development and management
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines
