Job Title: Pharmacy Manager II

Job Overview/Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with all regulations, and uphold the highest standards in medication management and patient care. This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of Texas pharmacy laws.

Responsibilities:

· Pharmacy Operations Management.

· Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for the pharmacy, assuming full responsibility for regulatory compliance and operations.

· Ensure that all pharmacy operations adhere to Texas Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) rules and regulations, as well as federal laws (e.g., DEA, FDA).

· Oversee the preparation, dispensing, and storage of medications, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance.

· Manage and maintain all pharmacy records, including prescriptions, inventory logs, and quality assurance reports.

Primary Skills:

· Extensive knowledge of Texas Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.

· Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to lead, mentor, and train a team effectively.

· Proficiency in pharmacy software and systems.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

· Experience in sterile and/or non-sterile compounding.

· Certification in sterile compounding (e.g., through PTCB or ACPE-accredited program).

Qualifications:

· Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent.

· Active and unrestricted Texas pharmacist license in good standing with the Texas Board of Pharmacy.

· Minimum of 3 years of pharmacist experience, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
