Job Overview/Summary:
Pulivarthi Group is seeking an experienced Packet Core Engineer with subject matter expertise in Packet Core, LTE, IP, MPLS, and 5G Standalone (SA) technology. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network design, integration, testing, and customer training. This role involves working with high-level and low-level design documents, managing network migration projects, and providing both onsite and remote support to ensure the successful deployment and operation of packet core solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Packet Core, LTE, IP/MPLS, and 5G SA technologies.
  • Create and deliver comprehensive documentation, including presentations, checklists, status reports, and acceptance test plans (ATP).
  • Develop and review High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
  • Build and test network designs in the lab, verifying design features and topology.
  • Provide design and integration expertise, including support for call flows and core network components such as Network Resource Director (NRD), Network Repository Function (NRF), and Network Slice Selection Function (NSSF).
  • Review HLD documents with customers remotely, incorporating their feedback into final designs.
  • Create configuration files based on approved HLDs and provide support during the integration phase.
  • Assist integration engineers in running acceptance tests and resolving issues during customer witness testing.
  • Lead migration activities, including developing and approving Methods of Procedure (MoP) documents and providing support during migration and acceptance testing.
  • Address customer questions during network sign-off and deliver customized training materials based on customer designs.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Packet Core, LTE, IP/MPLS, and 5G SA network technologies.
  • Strong expertise in designing, integrating, and troubleshooting complex network systems.
  • Proficient in creating HLD and LLD documentation and building configuration files.
  • Hands-on experience with network testing, call flows, and acceptance testing.
  • Familiarity with Network Resource Director (NRD), Network Repository Function (NRF), and Network Slice Selection Function (NSSF).
  • Proven experience in managing migration projects, including creating MoP documents and supporting migration engineers.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with customers.
  • Experience in building lab environments and delivering training sessions tailored to customer needs.
