Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Oncologist to join our network of top-tier healthcare professionals. This role involves providing exceptional patient-centered cancer care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining the highest standards of documentation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Diagnose, manage, and treat oncology patients with individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.

  • Communication: Maintain open and empathetic communication with patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans.

  • Documentation: Accurately document all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with coding and billing standards.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, radiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals in interdisciplinary team meetings.

  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality assurance programs, evaluate clinical outcomes, and support initiatives for continuous improvement.

  • Compliance: Adhere to all federal, state, and institutional regulations, including HIPAA and ethical medical practices.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in oncology and participate in continuing medical education (CME) programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology or Hematology-Oncology

  • A valid and unrestricted medical license (or license-eligible) in the relevant state

  • Proven clinical experience in diagnosing and treating various cancers

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong commitment to patient care, medical ethics, and teamwork

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fellowship training in Oncology or Hematology-Oncology

  • Prior experience in hospital or outpatient oncology settings

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
