Job Overview/Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Nuxeo Developer to join our team in a remote capacity. This role involves developing and enhancing document management capabilities on the Nuxeo platform, diagnosing and solving issues, and providing technical guidance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web application development, scalable solution design, and containerized software development.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and extend document management features and capabilities within the Nuxeo platform.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Design scalable solutions and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to team members.
- Address and overcome technology-related challenges.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, product teams, and business partners.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience with web application development, software, and database design.
- 3+ years of experience developing within the Nuxeo framework.
- 3+ years of experience with DevOps, Scrum, or Agile development methodologies.
- 2+ years of experience with containerized software development using Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience in developing and implementing workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with distributed application development and middleware technologies such as REST/SOAP Web Services, Java, and SQL.
- Experience with AWS cloud applications.
- Experience with MongoDB.
