Job Overview:
The Nutanix Resource Consultant will be responsible for developing and overseeing both functional and non-functional requirements for compute and storage products and services. This role involves partnering with architects and engineers, implementing modern strategies, and driving towards target architecture while incorporating DevOps and CI/CD technologies.
The Nutanix Resource Consultant will be responsible for developing and overseeing both functional and non-functional requirements for compute and storage products and services. Responsibilities:
Adhere to and refine Platform Architecture, ensuring the accomplishment of requirements for Compute and Storage products and services.
Partner with and influence architects and experienced engineers to incorporate modern strategies and drive toward target architecture.
Participate in creating and implementing a technology framework for DevOps and CI/CD, providing strong technical expertise to application development, operations, and senior technology management teams.
Serve as a technical innovator and strategic thought leader for CI/CD pipeline technology and engineering discipline.
Review and analyze solutions for security, secrets management, and secure coding practices.
Design, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile development practices.
Maintain knowledge in SRE areas like Observability, Automation, Reliability, Resiliency, Scalability, Configuration Management, and Data-Driven insights.
Act as a key transformation agent to advance the team through a defined DevOps maturity model.
Develop standards and best practices for engineering complex, large-scale technology solutions to address cross-organizational issues.
Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to drive design and code reviews focused on solution requirements.
Evaluate new products and re-evaluate ways to use existing capabilities to achieve key outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
2+ years of experience with a Cloud Management Platform such as Nutanix NCM Aria (vRA, vRO, vROPs, vRLI, vRSLCM, and/or vIDM), Nutanix (e.g., Calm and/or Prism).
4+ years of experience with scripting and development using languages such as Shell, Perl, Python, or PowerShell.
4+ years of formal development experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, GoLang.
2+ years of experience with common infrastructure automation platforms such as Ansible, Terraform, or Packer.
2+ years of experience with GitHub, Jenkins usage, and integrations.
2+ years of experience with complex application solution design, oversight, and mentoring of development/engineering teams.
2+ years of experience working across multiple technology domains, whether infrastructure, application development, cloud, or middleware.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to Distributed Infrastructure management, Data Protection, and Cyber Resiliency.
2+ years of experience with infrastructure engineering and platform management for platforms such as RedHat, Windows, Converged, Hyper-Converged, Virtualization, Block, File, Object, or Data Protection.
Experience with business process engineering, optimization, and orchestration.
Experience with designing and enabling highly complex risk management capabilities such as rebuild/repave, data protection, and recovery.
