Job Title: Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse

Job Overview/Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to provide high-quality care across two Piedmont Medical Center locations: Fort Mill and Rock Hill, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of current NNP experience and be board certified.

Responsibilities:

  • Newborn Nursery (NBN) coverage only

  • Attending deliveries in a new program at a brand-new facility

  • 24-hour rounding plus home call (approx. 8 hours rounding)

  • Estimated 350+ annual deliveries in the first year

  • Work in a 12-bed Level IIIa NICU with approximately 1700 annual deliveries

  • Attend high-risk deliveries and conduct daily rounds in the NICU and well-baby nursery

  • Schedule consists of 24-hour in-house shifts

Primary Skills:

  • Neonatal resuscitation and critical care

  • Management of high-risk newborns in NICU

  • Delivery room attendance and stabilization

  • Proficient in performing routine procedures (intubation, umbilical line placement, etc.)

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • EMR documentation proficiency

  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

  • Experience in both Level II and III NICU settings

  • Community engagement and education

Qualifications:

  • NNP Board Certification required (FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications will not be accepted)

  • Minimum of 2+ years of current experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (RN experience not counted)

  • Not accepting new graduate candidates
