Job Overview/Summary:
The MRI Senior Radiographer will be a key member of the MRI team, responsible for delivering high-quality MRI imaging services across the Trust. This role requires strong technical expertise, adaptability, and a commitment to patient-centered care, while contributing to the efficient management of resources and supporting the training of team members.
Responsibilities:

Produce high-quality MRI images within the Radiology Service.

Perform a wide range of MRI procedures across the Trust.

Contribute to efficient resource deployment for safe, accurate, and timely examinations.

Assist in coordinating workflow demands across MRI departments.

Support solutions to meet evolving service demands within radiology.

Provide training/tutorial support within the MRI Department.
Primary Skills:

Expertise in performing and adapting MRI imaging techniques.

Ability to assess patients and requests to determine the most appropriate diagnostic pathway.

Strong patient care and communication skills, ensuring comfort and compliance.

Knowledge of departmental systems, protocols, and infection control practices.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

Experience in departmental audit and quality assurance programs.

Leadership potential to take on delegated responsibilities from Team Leaders.

Teaching or mentoring experience within clinical settings.
Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Radiography (or equivalent).

HCPC registration (or eligibility).

Proven experience in MRI imaging across a broad range of procedures.
