Job Overview/Summary:
The Modality Performance Manager (MPM) will lead and implement the Service Support Strategy specific to MRI magnets, ensuring that business results align with expectations. The MPM will oversee the North America Magnet Fast Response Team (MR-FRT), collaborating with sales, marketing, and leadership to analyze performance, manage upgrades, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the North America Magnet Fast Response Team (MR-FRT) for magnet recovery, outcome decisions, and system installation approvals.
- Partner with sales and marketing to manage MRI install base activity for upgrades and magnet service support.
- Analyze data and report results to leadership on business financials, including helium consumption and overall magnet health.
- Lead North America magnet projects focused on continuous improvement, such as remote service and connectivity.
- Control and provide direct policies and procedures specific to North America magnet FRT support.
Primary Skills:
- Leadership and management of cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills at all levels, from field service engineers to executive leadership.
- Ability to analyze data and drive improvements in financial and operational performance.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience in remote service and connectivity projects for medical devices.
- Familiarity with MRI install base management and magnet recovery initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree required; a 4-year technical degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience servicing applicable modality equipment, with 10 years preferred.
- Ability to travel 50% or more nationally.
- Ability to meet minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
