Job Title: Microbiologist II/III

Job Overview/Summary:

The Microbiologist II/III will support laboratory functions by conducting microbiological testing and analysis within a pharmaceutical/biotech environment. The role involves ensuring compliance with cGMP/GLP standards and requires proficiency in aseptic techniques and documentation practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform microbiological testing in compliance with cGMP/GLP standards

  • Apply aseptic techniques in sample handling and analysis

  • Maintain accurate documentation and laboratory records

  • Support environmental monitoring and sterility assurance processes

  • Assist in equipment maintenance and laboratory upkeep

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project timelines

Primary Skills:

  • Microbiology laboratory skills, including aseptic technique

  • Understanding of cGMP regulations in a lab setting

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Strong documentation and recordkeeping abilities

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Familiarity with FDA regulatory requirements

  • Experience in environmental monitoring procedures

  • Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

  • Minimum BS/BA in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, or related field

  • Degree in Microbiology preferred

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
