Job Purpose
The Meditech Expanse Migration Consultant is responsible for managing a single data migration project. This role involves migrating data for a client utilizing Meditech Expanse. The consultant will oversee the creation and testing of queries, ensuring the successful completion of the data migration project.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Query Management:
Write, run, and debug queries on the client's system.
Expertly extract data from Meditech Expanse.

Project Management:
Develop time estimates for assigned project tasks.
Identify root causes for errors and work to successfully resolve technical problems.
Work with customer team members to understand the full project scope, maintaining consistent communication to ensure work aligns with overall project goals.

Data Handling:
Use, protect, and disclose patients' protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.

Proven experience in managing data migration projects, specifically with Meditech Expanse.
Proficient in writing, running, and debugging queries.
Strong understanding of data extraction techniques.
