Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Oncologist to join a reputable healthcare team in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and treating cancer patients, delivering high-quality medical care, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment plans for oncology patients
Manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy treatments
Collaborate with surgeons, radiation oncologists, and other specialists to deliver coordinated care
Participate in tumor board meetings and case reviews
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the oncology department
Primary Skills:
Expertise in Oncology patient care
Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment
Excellent communication with patients, families, and healthcare staff
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
Research experience or participation in clinical trials
Experience with EMR systems
Teaching or mentorship experience
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Medical degree (M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent)
Completion of an accredited residency program
Eligible or currently licensed to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
Board eligible or board certified by an appropriate specialty board OR possess equivalent competence as determined through credentialing and privileging
