Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a Medical Information Manager – Specialty / General Medicine to join our client’s medical affairs team. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating medical information on assigned products, ensuring complex scientific data is translated into clear, concise, and balanced content for diverse audiences including healthcare professionals, payers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Create, update, and review medical information content on assigned products, ensuring scientific content is summarized accurately and evaluated with the highest level of evidence.

Plan and maintain a robust and up-to-date medical information (MI) database, including launch readiness plans.

Maintain deep scientific and therapeutic expertise on assigned products and MI requirements across geographies.

Develop and update US medical information payer content, collaborating with partners such as US Medical Affairs Leaders, US Health Outcomes, and Legal to provide necessary resources to payers and managed care organizations.

Collaborate with internal Medical Affairs teams to create/update/localize presentations for HCP engagement or to address knowledge gaps.

Serve as primary medical sign-off for review of promotional materials, ensuring compliance with SOPs and standards.

Contribute to therapeutic area cross-functional teams, providing medical insights, trends, and strategic input on product priorities.

Deliver product and disease training to US medical, sales teams, and Global MI/MI Contact Centre staff.

Participate in Medical Information Workstreams to develop best practices, continuous improvements, and standardization of deliverables.
Primary Skills:
-
Strong clinical literature evaluation skills and the ability to summarize complex scientific literature, real-world evidence, and observational research studies for multiple audiences.

Deep understanding of medical information principles and regulatory requirements.

Experience creating medical information resources for healthcare professionals and payers.

Excellent ability to translate complex data into practical, customer-focused materials.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

Scientific knowledge and experience in Hepatology and/or Immunology.

2+ years’ experience developing scientific/medical information materials for HCPs, Payers, Patients, Public Health Authorities, or IDN customers in a global or local communications role.

3–5 years of relevant scientific experience in pharmaceutical, managed care, or health system settings.

Experience working with global teams and influencing stakeholders to address scientific gaps.

Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
Qualifications:

PharmD, PhD, or equivalent degree.

Minimum of 2+ years post-graduate clinical or pharmaceutical industry experience.

Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with internal partners locally and globally.

Proven customer focus and problem-solving abilities.
