Job Title: Medical Information Associate

Job Overview/Summary:

The Medical Information Associate is responsible for responding to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and clients. This role also involves pharmacovigilance responsibilities such as identifying and reporting adverse events and assisting with regulatory audits.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide approved responses to medical enquiries including handling calls.

  • Identify, document, and report adverse events, pregnancy cases, and product quality complaints within regulatory timeframes.

  • Ensure accurate and complete tracking of enquiries in the Medical Information database.

  • Participate in out-of-hours services for clients with 24/7 enquiry handling contracts.

  • Provide regular updates to management on project status and enquiry metrics.

  • Assist in regulatory inspection preparedness and actively participate in pharmacovigilance audits and inspections.

Primary Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Time and issue management, multitasking, and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written).

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Customer service or call center experience.

  • Comfortable managing phone enquiries.

  • Availability for out-of-hours service.

Qualifications:

  • Life science or biomedical background (degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or Nursing).
