Job Overview/Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care through comprehensive assessments, individualized treatment planning, and ongoing therapy sessions. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and experienced in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, with a strong commitment to timely documentation and collaborative care.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

Provide ongoing individual therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches

Manage and schedule follow-up appointments to ensure continuity of care

Respond to patient messages in a timely and professional manner

Complete all clinical notes and charge slips within 24 hours of each appointment

Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant documentation within the EHR

Collaborate with the Medical Director and clinical team on patient care

Communicate effectively with the front office team to support scheduling and patient flow

Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and training sessions as needed

Primary Skills:

Proficiency in conducting clinical assessments and developing treatment plans

Experience providing individual therapy using evidence-based modalities

Strong documentation skills within EHR systems

Ability to manage scheduling and patient communication independently

Comfort with telehealth platforms and related technology

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

Experience in trauma-informed care

Familiarity with substance use treatment approaches

Strong collaboration and interdisciplinary teamwork skills

Adaptability to evolving clinical environments

Qualifications:

Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field

Active LMHC or LCSW license in the state of Florida

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in behavioral health or therapy preferred

Strong clinical judgment with a patient-centered approach
