Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced unit with high patient turnover and a strong emphasis on quality, compassionate care for laboring patients.
Responsibilities:
L&D RN – PM shift
Care for laboring patients
Triaging and delivering patients (vaginal deliveries or C-sections)
Assisting with tubal ligations and cerclages
Monitoring patients with fetal monitors, IUPC, and FSE cables
Primary Skills:
Labor & Delivery nursing
Triage and patient assessment
Proficiency with labor and delivery equipment (Fetal monitor, IUPC, FSE)
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
Experience with high-volume L&D units
Comfort with surgical procedures and recovery (C-Sections, Tubal ligations)
Qualifications:
Valid RN License
California State Specific Licensure
Proven Labor & Delivery experience
