Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon (MD or DO) to join a thriving surgical team. This position offers a high volume of referrals and the opportunity to grow into a leadership role. A reasonable call schedule and supportive clinical environment make this an excellent opportunity for both experienced surgeons and qualified new graduates.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform general surgical procedures including emergency and elective cases

Manage trauma and acute care surgery cases

Provide consultation and follow-up care in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Collaborate with hospital staff, referring physicians, and specialists for comprehensive patient care

Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in EPIC EMR
-
Opportunity to assume a Medical Director role for eligible candidates
Required Qualifications:
-
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
-
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Surgery
-
Valid and unrestricted state medical license (or license-eligible)

Minimum 1–3 years of post-residency experience preferred

Comfortable managing trauma cases independently

Excellent surgical, clinical, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:

New graduates considered with strong clinical acumen and leadership potential

Robotic surgery experience is a plus (not mandatory)

Prior leadership experience in a surgical or hospital setting
