Job Overview:
The Epicor Financial Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing the financial modules of the Epicor ERP system. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their financial processes, provide expert guidance, and ensure successful deployment of Epicor solutions tailored to their business needs.
 
Responsibilities:
Implementation & Configuration:
Lead the implementation and configuration of Epicor Financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting.
Process Optimization:
Analyze client financial processes and identify areas for improvement. Provide recommendations to optimize financial operations within Epicor ERP.
Customization:
Develop and implement custom solutions within the Epicor system to meet specific client needs, including custom reports, dashboards, and workflows.
Training & Support:
Provide training to end-users on Epicor Financial modules, ensuring they are equipped to utilize the system effectively. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed.
Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and customizations.
Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, technical teams, and other consultants to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Client Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding Epicor Financial modules, offering expert advice and building strong client relationships.
 
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience with Epicor ERP, specifically in Financial modules.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Epicor certifications are a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epicor ERP, SQL, Crystal Reports, and financial reporting tools.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen understanding of financial processes and best practices.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-technical users.
Project Management: Experience in managing ERP implementation projects, including timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
