Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dietician to provide advanced, highly specialized dietetic care at both local and regional levels. The ideal candidate will be a confident, innovative, and caring individual with strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. This role includes training, supervision, research, and the delivery of exceptional nutritional care in a paediatric and general clinical setting.
Responsibilities:

Provide advanced, highly specialised dietetic care to patients.

Advise patients and healthcare staff on dietary plans.

Lead and contribute to the clinical training of dietetic students.

Support the Clinical Dietetic Manager in coordinating team activities.

Provide supervision and guidance to staff.

Lead and participate in audit and research activities.

Disseminate research findings within the specialized clinical area.

Portfolio of CPD (Continuing Professional Development) activities.

Knowledge of statistical software such as SPSS or Mini-tab.

BDA membership.

Attendance at BDA accredited courses in clinical specialist areas.
Qualifications:

BSc (Hons) in Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent.

Experience working at a senior level as a Dietitian, including paediatric experience.

Registered for Diploma of Advanced Dietetic Practice, Master's modules, or equivalent experience.

HPC registration.
-
Evidence of audits or research projects undertaken.

Clinical supervision training or equivalent.

Understanding of current issues in dietetics, especially paediatrics.

Knowledge of research methods, clinical governance, and quality improvement.
