Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Dialysis Technician (PCT) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care to individuals receiving dialysis treatment. Ideal candidates are dependable, fast learners, team-oriented, and ready to make a difference in patients’ lives.
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care to dialysis patients in a safe, hygienic, and compassionate manner
Prepare the water room, calibrate tools, mix acid or bicarb, and ensure all pre-treatment tasks are complete
Monitor and document patient vitals and machine readings before, during, and after treatment
Respond to emergencies and communicate effectively with supervising RNs
Educate patients on dialysis-related topics
Support clinic operations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with a cross-functional clinical team
Primary Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple patient treatments
Comfort working with blood and needles
Technical knowledge of dialysis machines and procedures
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
BONENT Certification
Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT)
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Phlebotomy certification
Previous healthcare or dialysis experience
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift 5–50 lbs for extended periods
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Willingness to travel between clinics as needed
