Job Title: Dialysis Registered Nurse

Job Overview/Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our hospital-based care team. The ideal candidate will provide inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis, while collaborating with hospital teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver inpatient dialysis treatments such as hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.

  • Collaborate with hospital teams, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated care.

  • Monitor patient status and adjust treatment plans as needed.

  • Supervise and support Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) during dialysis sessions.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

  • Quickly adapt to changing patient conditions and unit needs.

Primary Skills:

  • Inpatient dialysis experience (required).

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple patients in a hospital environment.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg units.

  • CNN or CDN certification.

  • Adaptability to rotating schedules and multiple hospital settings.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in the state of practice.

  • ADN required; BSN preferred.

  • Prior dialysis experience (mandatory).

  • CNN/CDN certification preferred.

  • Must pass a color vision test (accommodations available).
