Job Overview/Summary:
Seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dialysis LVN/LPN to support dialysis treatment operations, provide direct patient care, follow clinical protocols, and assist with operational and documentation tasks under the supervision of the Charge Nurse.
Responsibilities:

Demonstrate effective use of supplies and staff labor hours.

Assist with billing log preparation and updates as needed.

Perform duties as assigned to support patient care and clinic operations.

Obtain blood samples for laboratory analysis according to physician orders.

Complete and document monthly reviews of patient medication profiles.

Comply with all healthcare professional practice act requirements.

Work under the supervision of a Charge Nurse and within company policy, state, and federal regulations.

Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of treatments, activities, and communication with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Report significant patient condition changes to the Charge Nurse.

Report any machine malfunctions to the Biomedical Technician and Administrator.

Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and continuing education as required.

Assist with staff training as requested.

Prior dialysis experience

Familiarity with dialysis equipment troubleshooting

Qualifications:

Current LVN/LPN license in applicable state (must remain active and in good standing).

CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.

Ability to distinguish all primary colors.

Previous dialysis experience preferred.

Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director within 8 weeks.

Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).

Effective time and task management skills.

Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications required within 90 days.

Must meet all state practice requirements.
