Job Overview/Summary: We are seeking a skilled Datacap Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing IBM Datacap solutions that integrate seamlessly with FileNet 5.5.12. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop Datacap applications, and ensure reliable document capture and management processes.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement IBM Datacap solutions that integrate seamlessly with FileNet 5.5.12.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Datacap.
Develop and maintain Datacap applications, configurations, and workflows to support document capture, processing, and management.
Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of Datacap solutions to ensure reliability, accuracy, and performance.
Engage in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.
Maintain DevOps practices and tools to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of Datacap applications.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Datacap-related issues, collaborating with IT teams and vendors as needed.
Support change management activities to facilitate the adoption of Datacap and ensure a smooth transition for end-users.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in document capture and management technologies.
Provide support for FileNet Capture during transition.
Provide support to end-users, including troubleshooting issues, answering queries, and conducting training sessions to improve user proficiency.
Manage and document all configurations and changes to the FileNet Capture system to ensure consistency and compliance with organizational policies.
Quickly respond to and resolve incidents, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity of business operations.
Ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems and applications, troubleshooting and resolving any integration issues.
Oversee the capture, storage, and retrieval of data, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years (or commensurate experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5-8 years of professional experience as a Datacap Developer, with a strong background in FileNet Content Manager, FileNet Capture, and document management systems.
Extensive experience designing and implementing Datacap solutions, including configurations, workflows, and integrations.
Proficiency in .NET languages (C# or VB.NET), VBScript, and JavaScript.
Experience with Oracle Weblogic 12c/Database 19c and Microsoft SQL Server.
Familiarity with Management and Capture Technologies, including OCR (Optical Character Recognition), ICR (Intelligent Character Recognition), Barcode Recognition, and Document Classification and Extraction.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
Strong understanding of quality assurance frameworks and experience conducting testing and validation of Datacap solutions.
