Job Title: Clinical Research Specialist III

Job Overview/Summary:

The Clinical Research Specialist III is responsible for coordinating and managing clinical research activities while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and study protocols. This role is vital in delivering high-quality patient-centered research outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the most remarkable patient experience in every dimension, every time

  • Engage in a team-oriented environment that encourages collaboration and community involvement

  • Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion to support quality care

  • Ensure patient safety by applying the principles of "First Do No Harm"

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of clinical research studies

  • Meet multiple deadlines and handle concurrent projects efficiently

  • Communicate with individuals of diverse backgrounds and multiple leadership levels

  • Travel to clinics, hospitals, and partner agencies as needed

  • Follow safety protocols when exposed to study agents, biohazards, and pathology specimens

Primary Skills:

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and self-motivate

  • Proficiency in managing multiple deadlines across various projects

  • Excellent computer skills and understanding of medical terminology

  • Physical ability for manual tasks, standing/sitting, and lifting medium weight objects

  • Capacity to travel for developmental, educational, and promotional activities

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Teamwork experience in a healthcare or research setting

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

  • Experience in navigating regulatory compliance and study documentation

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of eight years of relevant experience required

    • Associate’s degree may substitute for 1 year

    • Bachelor’s degree may substitute for 2 years

    • Master’s degree may substitute for 3 years

  • Minimum of five years of clinical research experience required

  • Certification: SoCRA or ACRP, CCRP required

  • Valid driver’s license in appropriate state required
