Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic cardiac care team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures while ensuring patient safety, accurate documentation, and effective collaboration with physicians and clinical staff.
Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care for cardiac patients

Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations

Administer medications and IV conscious sedation under physician direction

Scrub and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic procedures

Accurately document nursing care in MediTech and Camtronics systems

Record, monitor, and interpret hemodynamic measurements and valve areas

Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends
Primary Skills:
-
Cardiac Catheterization Lab nursing
-
Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
-
Conscious sedation administration
-
Emergency response and critical care nursing
-
Clinical documentation and EMR proficiency
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
-
Cardiac Cath Lab experience
-
Peripheral angiography assistance
-
Familiarity with MediTech and Camtronics systems
Qualifications:
-
Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with the Tennessee Board of Nursing

Current BLS certification
-
ACLS certification required (or completion within 6 months of hire)

Minimum of 1 year Critical Care RN experience (ICU or ER)

Prior Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
