Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Bridge Engineer II to join our remote team, contributing significantly to bridge projects across the Midwest. Your role will involve bridge design, bridge inspection, cost estimation, specification development, and CADD coordination. Because this position impacts critical infrastructure, meticulous attention to detail and extensive experience are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design steel and concrete beam bridges integrated with road projects.
- Conduct detailed inspections of major bridges throughout Michigan and the Midwest.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for bridge construction projects.
- Develop unique and detailed bridge specifications.
- Perform and coordinate CADD design activities with project teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge design.
- Proficiency with MicroStation software.
- Skilled in Windows Office Suite and BlueBeam.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
- Experience using LEAP and STADD software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE), focused on structural engineering.
