Job Overview/Summary: As a BIM Manager, you will play a key role in managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. You will lead the development of 3D models using tools like Revit and Navisworks, ensuring accurate model integration and applying COBie standards for facility management and asset tracking.
Responsibilities:
- Lead BIM processes for MEP trades and ensure accurate integration of models.
- Develop and maintain 3D models, focusing on quality control and clash detection.
- Implement COBie standards to support asset management and facility operations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Provide BIM training and technical support to the team, fostering collaboration and skill development.
Primary Skills:
- 5-7 years of hands-on BIM experience, particularly with MEP systems.
- Expertise in COBie standards and asset management workflows.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, etc.).
- Strong experience in developing and managing 3D models and BIM workflows.
- Excellent collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience with large-scale MEP projects.
- Certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing BIM processes for MEP projects.
