Job Overview/Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated X-Ray Technician to join a fast-paced orthopedic clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, assisting clinical staff, and ensuring a smooth patient flow while delivering exceptional patient care. This role requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform all x-rays in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic setting.

Bring patients to exam rooms and assist with triage procedures.

Prepare exam rooms, restock supplies, and power up equipment and computers as needed.

Assist physicians and other team members with clinical and administrative tasks.

Provide friendly and professional patient communication, including answering and returning phone calls.

Educate patients using approved materials and handouts.

Escort patients to and from exam rooms.

Conduct appointment and surgery reminder calls.

Document patient messages accurately and communicate test results under physician direction.

Primary Skills:

Diagnostic radiography and imaging procedures

Patient triage and clinical support

Strong patient care and interpersonal skills

Effective verbal and written communication

Ability to multitask and work under pressure

Organizational and time-management skills

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

Experience in an orthopedic clinic setting

Electronic Medical Records (EMR) proficiency

Appointment scheduling and administrative support experience

Team-oriented mindset with a positive work history

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Active radiologic technologist certification/licensure (as required by state/province)

Independent, self-starting, and highly motivated professional

Proven ability to adapt to frequent schedule changes

Strong teamwork attitude and initiative
