Job Title: Wind Turbine Engineer

Job Overview/Summary:
Pulivarthi Group is seeking a Wind Turbine Engineer to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of wind turbine systems and operations. This role will focus on investigating and resolving technical issues, driving performance improvements, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong engineering background, hands-on expertise, and the ability to work effectively in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities:
Serve as SME for wind turbine systems, providing technical support and evaluating improvements. Investigate anomalies and equipment failures, develop hypotheses on root causes, and organize testing campaigns to validate solutions. Identify and manage external consultants to support technical investigations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize projects and communicate objectives. Organize and lead meetings with OEMs and service providers, ensuring quality and contractual compliance. Manage and execute engineering studies to improve reliability and performance of turbine components. Review and recommend design modifications and corrective measures proposed by OEMs. Ensure technical compliance with Avangrid's standards by evaluating external professionals and consultants. Support operational fleet to ensure safety, address technical issues, and maximize availability. Conduct site visits to generating plants and suppliers to investigate issues and oversee program deployments. Represent the company at industry forums, participate in standards development, and provide regulatory feedback. Manage projects related to compliance with NERC and regional standards for renewable resource interconnection.

Primary Skills:
B.S. in Engineering or equivalent technical field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy. Expertise with electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and electrical modeling programs (e.g., PowerWorld, ETAP, PSSE, PSLF). Advanced knowledge of industry standards (IEEE, NEC, IEC, ASTM, OSHA). Experience with measurement systems and data analysis.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities. Exceptional technical writing and presentation skills. Ability to climb up to 100-meter towers and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. Flexibility to travel up to 15% and work in the field.

Qualifications:
Demonstrated record of superior academic and professional performance. Advanced computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, email, and data management. Familiarity with NERC and regional interconnection standards for renewable resources.
