Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a skilled VUI (Voice User Interface) Designer with a proven track record in designing intuitive and engaging chatbot experiences. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VUI tools such as Figma, Drift, Sketch, or Speechly, and proficiency in creating process flows using Visio or Lucid Charts. This role requires creativity, technical proficiency, and a strong understanding of conversational design principles.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop VUI for chatbot interfaces, ensuring optimal user experience and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into engaging voice and conversational designs.
- Utilize tools such as Figma, Drift, Sketch, or Speechly to create wireframes, prototypes, and conversational flows.
- Develop detailed workflows, scripts, and visualizations using Visio or Lucid Charts to support development and implementation teams.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to refine chatbot interactions.
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in VUI and conversational design.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in VUI design, with a portfolio showcasing professional working projects.
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Drift, Sketch, or Speechly.
- Experience with Visio and Lucid Charts for creating workflows and process diagrams.
- Strong understanding of conversational design principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
