Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a Voice Speech Tuning Audio Specialist/Engineer to enhance and optimize speech recognition capabilities within conversational banking applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), speech tuning, and audio analysis. This role involves reviewing call recordings, analyzing data, and fine-tuning voice recognition engines for improved accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze call recordings, review reports, and assess data to identify areas requiring NLP tuning.
- Implement changes to the tuning engine to enhance recognition accuracy.
- Identify in-grammar and out-of-grammar speech patterns and improve transcription accuracy.
- Research and troubleshoot unrecognized speech and false positives to refine the speech engine.
- Work with Microsoft Speech Studio, Microsoft STT/TTS solutions, and AudioCodes to optimize speech recognition.
- Collaborate with vendors to communicate necessary tuning improvements.
- Create and maintain custom speech models tailored to specific use cases.
Primary Skills:
- Proven experience in speech tuning within a voice recognition application.
- Strong ability to analyze audio data and recordings to improve speech recognition performance.
- Background in audio engineering or speech processing, with expertise in optimizing voice systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Speech Studio, Microsoft STT/TTS solutions, and AudioCodes tuning processes.
- Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and conversational AI for banking or similar industries.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Understanding of telephony systems and cloud-based voice AI solutions.
- Experience working with machine learning models for speech processing.
- Familiarity with speech analytics tools for enhancing AI-driven voice interactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Audio Engineering, Linguistics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with speech recognition, tuning, and NLP systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and data analysis skills related to voice applications.
