Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Magento Developer to join our technology team as a hands-on developer and technical leader. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and optimizing Magento-based e-commerce solutions while providing technical leadership, ensuring quality, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Magento-based e-commerce solutions, including customizations and third-party integrations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize and deliver projects aligned with business goals.
- Optimize website performance through caching strategies, database optimization, and other performance-enhancing techniques.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards, including volume testing and data security best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends, ensuring the application of best practices.
- Work with version control systems such as Bitbucket for code management and deployment.
- Implement and maintain compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Senior Magento Developer, with hands-on expertise in developing and maintaining Magento-based e-commerce solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Magento architecture, customizations, and best practices.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Bitbucket.
- Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques, caching strategies, and database optimization.
- Solid quality assurance experience, including volume testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to align technical goals with business objectives.
- Strong technical leadership skills and understanding of data integration tools and processes.
