Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Spine Surgeon for a flexible, part-time opportunity. This role is ideal for physicians seeking to supplement their existing practice, offering a limited schedule with flexibility to accommodate private practice commitments. The surgeon will evaluate and treat patients with spinal conditions, including those related to work-related injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with spine-related conditions.
- Provide expert consultation and treatment planning for musculoskeletal and spinal disorders.
- Manage patients with work-related injuries, as applicable.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation.
- Adhere to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Primary Skills:
- Orthopedic spine surgery
- Patient evaluation and diagnosis
- Treatment planning and clinical decision-making
- Musculoskeletal and spine care
- Interdisciplinary collaboration
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience treating occupational/work-related injuries
- Independent practice management
- Strong patient communication skills
- Outpatient or consultative care experience
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
- Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction
- Medical malpractice insurance covering on-site practice
- Preferred experience in treating patients with work-related injuries
